The Colorado Beef Council is pleased to offer recipes, nutrition, education and promotional materials free of charge to Colorado residents. These materials are made available by the beef checkoff, which is paid by Colorado cattle producers to fund beef education, promotion, and research programs.

Cattle in Colorado History
Cattle helped shape early Colorado. Settlers brought cattle and sheep with them. Colorado offered ideal conditions for grazing, even in the winter.
